Closing the role of busy trading port, Hoi An has gained a reputation for tourism after nearly centuries of being forgotten. In 1999, Hoi An was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. This must-try old town has a beautiful blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and Portuguese culture. It is showed up through the old houses painted gold and temple roof carved carvings. With a population of over 10 million people, Ho Chi Minh City is the largest cultural centers and cities of Vietnam. Visitors can see crowded motorbikes on the road and skyscrapers sprouting up next to French houses. The city is divided into 24 districts. With bathing beaches and less crowded, ‘Con Dao’ likes a hidden gem for many visitors. In the past, the French colonialists built a prison on the island to detain Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers, so today, many people come here to convey their respects to the sacrificed soldiers.
