JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: English Teacher at public schools

Department: Academic

REQUIREMENTS

1. Native speakers from UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Westerners
2. Associate/ Diploma/ Bachelor degree in any field (major in  Education / English language is preferred)
3. Understanding of English teaching method and IELTS preparation in particular. Experience in teaching English for kids and  teenagers, IELTS preparation is a a plus
4. Being able to use a wide array of resources to build rich learning experiences while integrating multiple approaches to ensure differentiation.
5. Being able to  display effective classroom management.
6. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Planning and delivering English lessons to students.
2. Evaluating  students’ class work and assignments.
3. Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
4. Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.
5. Utilizing computers and other technological classroom support equipment in student instruction.
6. Participating in meetings,workshops and schools’ activities.
7. Evaluating student's academic and personal growth, keeping appropriate records.
8. Performing other job duties as required..

Power English Center is located in Phu Nhuan District, Saigon – one of the most active and bustling cities in Vietnam. We are recruiting teachers to teach at public/private schools: We send our foreign teachers to teach K-12 classes at both public and private schools around Saigon. The new school year will start around the middle of August and end in May.
